I'm Penelope Purdy, a Grade 8 Distinction pianist based in Dorset. I play weddings and private events across Dorset and Hampshire: ceremony, drinks reception and the wedding meal. I'll take on any song that matters to you, arranged by ear if it has never been written down for piano.

I've been at a piano my whole life.
Music is a real passion of mine. I love composing my own pieces, and I've always been able to play by ear, which is why I'll happily take on a song that means something to you, even if nobody has ever written it down for piano.
I've played a ceremony at Highcliffe Castle, and I perform solo piano regularly in concerts. What I care about most is that the playing brings warmth and feeling into a room, rather than just filling the silence.

One thing worth knowing early: I play acoustic and digital pianos at your venue, so I can only take bookings where there's a piano available. Most venues either have one or can hire one in. Ask them, and if the answer's yes, I'm free to book.

I'm based in Dorset and travel throughout both counties. If your venue is a little further out, ask anyway. I'd rather hear about it than have you assume.
